Weekend of great weather

Definitely didn't ride as much as I would've liked to this past weekend. Temperatures in the 60s and sunny. As a bartender I have to work on weekends and work events like Ghent Bar Tour. I wake up exhausted from leaving work at 4am after a 10-12 hour shift the night before. I had to get a little riding in so I forced myself to get out of bed and enjoy some of the best weather we've had so far this year.
Saturday I had lunch at Route 58 Deli in Virginia Beach with Big Baby Brett, April, Josh, Dave and Lester. We reminisced about last years Revenge Run and I pulled up an old videos of Big Baby Brett
arm wrestling topless and our golf cart shenanigans.
After closing Saturday night, we had a work meeting at 9am Sunday morning. Shitty, I know. I let Kate ride my RD350, and I rode behind her on the Scrambler. I swear, the smell of two stroke is THE best in the morning when the air is still crisp and fresh. I love riding behind that bike.

Bitchin' stuntin!

Although today was only 50 degrees and was freezing tits when we got close to the bay, it was well worth it! I learned how to change spark plugs and check oil (movin' on up!), and then Sharon, Jaime, Kate, Dave and I went to Ocean View to grab some food.  Got some shots of us fuckin' around on the way back! Today was good, and now we're ready for the warm weather to get here for good!

Sharon on her Scrambler.

TWERK.

Shan kickin' it.

Finally A Warm Day

I have never hated winter and cold weather this much until I started riding motorcycles. It didn't seem to bother me much before but now I FUCKING HATE IT.  Virginia's winter weather can be freezing cold one day and be 70 degrees the next day. So I usually don't go too long without riding. It's been cold as shit for a couple of weeks now and I don't like to ride if it's below 50 degrees (I would fall apart). I was starting to have withdrawals from riding. I was missing the wind in my face, the sound of the exhaust, wearing my gear and GOING FAST.  Thank goodness today was a beautiful, warm day! I rode the new scrambler and ran errands with Dave Long for a couple of hours. I needed it.
